Yesterday I went to the local Sprint store to activate my phone. The girl helping me was pretty cute so I thought i would try to number close. Before I left I said, "so i would like to continue this talking with you, can we make that happen?" and she took my phone out of my hands and programed her number.
about 10 hours later I wrote the first message.
Me: "hi ms. formerly-formerly-known-to-me as "that sprint store sales rep girl"
Her: who is this?
Her: (my name?)
Me: You guessed right.
Her: I saved your number, but i guess it didn't stick lol. whats your last name?
Me: Three tries...its something you use everynight...
Her: lol a light
Me: nope...two more...think, "sleepy"
Her: (she guessed right) lol
Me: wow it only took you two guesses, im impressed. just for that ill let you hang out with me sometime lol
Her: lol ya ya ya. you asked me remember?
Me: lol no, i aske, can me make that happen, and you took my phone. i never asked for your number ;) nice try. ill talk to you later
Her: lol y later
Me: im headed to my friends place
Her: k

she had a responce time around twenty minutes, i waited 30 to 45 for most of them.

This is me being nit picky, but personally I would have used a more commanding voice. I like to tell them what to do rather than ask. Obviously the decision is still theirs to say "No" to anything. However, people are less likely to say no to something when they are told rather than asked. Also, try to get in the habit of not starting sentences with "So".

Wow, that does sound a lot better. I have a huge habit of saying "so" before a sentence. Ill work on that.
Thanks for the input.
